wheres the pictures
I drew a pic the other day of one I saw on the way in because I couldn't get the phone out quick enough. How this mfer fit to turn perfectly perpendicular in the single curbed turn out lane is a mystery to me.20210216_111134.jpg

Good morning Gary at least your day is starting out well :Dlet’s hope it ends the same or better

The sun rises in the East on this side of the world, it was all discombobulated when I started the day. Just hoping to make it home safely at the end of the day...

pull them pieces of *s-word
They are not even mounted yet lol but could be in a half hour and installed. I always have a brand new set waiting for any of our cars just in case repeated days of ice comes. Luck favors the prepared you know this to be true. When I was younger younger we travelled in cars not leaf spring lifted trucks. Six hours to go skiing in ones of those sucks. That's a pine barrons wheeling mission to go hooding all night not a travel vehicle imo. I did enough decades of towing, woods recovery, and snow plowing to travel in any weather anywhere. My truck has no trouble with a foot of snow. It don't like ice! And I don't like running chains on long hauls.
Never got more than a thousand miles out of a brand new set of studded snow tires before they got sold or dry rot starting from a decade sitting in a trailer box. I always buy brand new ones. These have been mounted once for one winter and have maybe fifty miles on them. They work great on ice with a hundred miles on them to get broke in and knock off the tits. They go like stink in the snow.
They absolutely suck on dry pavement but do make sparks and lots of smoke while launching studs out but really don't screech much ;)

I/we could seriously use a bit of help on a localized weather report. I trust anyone who is a regular on here vs any weather guessers. So if your in Lancaster Pa or east of there headed toward Philly then my girls would like to know what the local travel conditions are now and you anticipate they will be tonight after 8PM when they are done at a Feis up there today/evening.

They are planing on 76 to 222 to the Celtic center for the arts.

They can reserve a room now if you think travel conditions will be poor tonight. They will not be running the bad ass tires or driving in the conditions I do. 07' Camry regular like.

Got no idea if they throw sand up there or not. Here they brine, plow, salt or salt and sand mix. We have other products also available here they don't use on their roads.

If your reading this and may happen to be a weather guesser in that area... give it your best shot ;)

I rode off the ridge with a elderly neighbor to get fuel it's 8 miles to a gas station.
He drove I got out and cut tree's out of the way
We finally made it to a gas station that had gas
Many are out of fuel because of storms.
I'm Going to try to cut firewood for a family at the end of the ridge
They don't have any it's supposed to be 4* tonight.

What a good neighbor [emoji106]

Oh btw if conditions are really bad now please let me know. I can sit in the truck all the time but it will suck because they are going on one way or another.
Not really up for a hotel night myself... busy here. They don't stay in motels like us men do so its not too bad for me to stay there.
