The last mig machine I owned was a Lincoln SP200 -- but I like the Hobart in the picture. Seen a few of them.
What are the specs on the machine?

hobart 190 from tractor supply
nothing fancy but it works good
i bought it when i got annoyed with my last mig when i was rebuilding a outdoor wood burner

i need to order some lights and figure how i want to cap of the ass of the bed
i bought 3 sheets of the floor plate so ill have enough to do that

LED round lights with the rubber ring are about as simple as you can get or ovals.

not gonna worry about lights on headache rack as it will be a work truck

i didnt order enough channel to do headache rack and metal shop isnt open on fridays right now so i have to wait until monday

Not a bad thing. Almost bought a Miller 35 years ago.
I believe if you're trusting it for this heavy frame it must not be all that bad.
Am I wrong?

We are gradually going away from LEDs on the boats after initially thinking they were the ducks nuts. Any sort of failure and you have to replace the whole assembly, rather than just a globe. Actually, not true, i'm using some led bulbs that fit in conventional festoon holders for some of them.

c channel is 3/16 so not really heavy and multi pass on thicker stuff
220 volt machine is more dependable for anything over 1/8 than the 120 volt machines ive used
