That’s meTrue statement -- if that's you jack you are a fortunate individual.
How may cc's do you need in a quad to tow a tree?
If a Texan was filming, who was cuttin'?

Yesterday, it sucked to be you.I'm doing a 261 with a 044 carb for a customer in Japan. I could have ported two saws in the time I've spent messing with this.
RofI can probably find ironhorse's contact info dot dot dot.
Oh lawd
I call BS.Old saws can be aggravating too work on for sure. Pretty much all I have that need anything.
Get a BFH, amateurs...I have one here I work on, fail, get pissed and set aside. Repeat. Been dancing with it all COVID.
He isHe's a legend....
I wanted to see the saw repair vids of the trash can saw. The b4 and after. Never thought he'd go cut a big a$$ tree down. I wouldn't have cut that. I'm inexperienced in felling other than 12" and under straight pine trees away from anything but myself to hurt. You guys saw the biggest I've ever cut in a different thread. I asked for advice. It's fine. It's how we learn.I'd respectfully disagree. MiniTex has been around this forum enough to know making cookies is more than adequate when asked for video of a saw running.
Ok, my 2 cents. With you guys asking for a video, I provided y'all one. Like I've said, any tips that y'all have, I'll be happy to hear em as long as I'm not insulted because I don't have as much experience as the rest of you guys
Ok, lets see a side view of that stump so we can critique the face, notch, and back cuts. With you guys asking for a video, I provided y'all one. How's the cranes be treating you?Ok, my 2 cents.
Brett, glad nobody got hurt.
I dont think anyone here was asking you to do a felling video. They just wanted you to post up running the saws.
Having said that, I admire your determination, though I question your reasoning.
Theres a lot that could have gone very wrong there.
I'm guessing you probably know that now.
As has already been said, you need a snatch block secured with a choker to an anchor tree so the pulling line doesnt slip like that one did.
There are a ton of other things that need to be learned.
Be patient and listen to advice along with constructive criticism. And stay the fugg away from standing trees for awhile!
You have plenty of wood to cut cookies with now.
Thanks for the advice Brent! I’ll be sure to listen to you!Ok, my 2 cents.

I can get you a 48" pretty cheap. PM me.I think HL supply has a good priced 36 inch mill. For a saw 94cc and up if you want it to last. If the wood in your area isn't very big you could get away with a smaller mill, but I would still run a big saw. Once in awhile I will use my 371 ported by Steve, but I really don't like doing that.
Good to know. Fanks.
Work it right, and there's your big saw and mill lol.
My MIL had her new hip break for no good reason. She didn't sue themLOL!
Sounds like mine.
Just messin with ya.
Hope youre getting around better.
My grandfather had one done that they didnt get quite right. Pained him a lot. He ended up getting it redone, and no problems after that.
Got a cousin who has had one replaced, and he is having lingering pain.
Long story short, if it doesn't feel right, make them fix it. Don't suffer.
Like a drunk prom date. How's the cranes be treating you?
Sorry Tim dont have anything like that. Lost all my guns in an boating accident last summer.Good morning Lee. Got any .380 you want to sell?
