Picture after 10 tanks fuel of milling. Remember K&N filters are junk lol.View attachment 277897

I can't believe all the fines on the filter base. Preposterous. You may have gotten one down into the intake tract. You need to tear that entire thing down. Oh, and GFY.

I still use my PP455 with a bow. Any filter elbows you think would fit on these saws?

660 V stack and K&N old filter are sitting here doing nothing.
The stack is going on a smaller carb massaged with a Uni filter or green weenie. That leaves the filter. Smallest elbow I have here is an AM 272 or a 394. 395 looks too big. Still learning those "add on" Husky parts for the hot rod stuff. No clue about the other 70-80cc Huskys but I'm learning by asking for pics. Last one sent to me had six or so elbow types in it for those 60-80cc saws. Having no clue the sizes internally say on a 266xp or something like it and wanting to update my saw now with an elbow and filter but not like yours. I hate the carb entry... it's just sad.

Nice save.

I'd say it's a proximity switch thing on one of the shuttle valves, @Dream or @Slumberjack might be clued. Also they might be gunshy from us being told off for talking too techy recently......
Don’t wanna speculate on anything without running it past the information Nazis

Husky 288 elbow bolts right up to the carb. Then you can get a v stack from @Definitive Dave .
