We are as well a melting pot. Louisiana has all different types of people. More Spain/French/native Americans mixed with Scott/Irish decent. Than other places I think.

Acadians(Cajuns).
The French dropped off some folks they didnt care for in the Bayou with a hatchet and not much else. They made it just fine.
A lot like Australia, from what ive heard.
Testament to will to live and thrive in less than ideal conditions.

I also got a call that my last remaining uncle past this morning. Been ill a long time, took a nap after breakfast and never woke up.

Thanks guys, he suffered s stroke a few years ago and hasn’t really been himself since. Given everything thing that had happened this year a peaceful rest is really what is best.
