Got back in about an hour ago; unlike @dall 's truck, my Ford actually made it to Kevin's and back. Much thanks to Kevin and Holly for putting together such an awesome event and for all of the excellent food. Really enjoyed seeing/meeting everyone.
lol it will be around when yours are beer cans again lol

Home, almost unpacked because I'm slow. Got Cali safely to the curb at GRR, he should almost be to his long layover in Houston. It was great seeing all of you "saw slackers"(Kev's name) and catching up. I'm glad @dall didn't get me into his sleeper hold like he did @PA Dan , and I'm glad @Woodpecker didn't catch me with his sack kick like he did @P.M.P.

A mighty fudgie thanks to Kevin and Holly. They are the most gracious and giving hosts I have experienced. They both offered their shops to me this weekend without a hesitation.
lol next time then lol

.7 liters more and only 29hp more than the 6.6 gas. Maybe it's the 11ft lbs of torque difference.

Either one comes in a truck that is priced way, way too high.
It’s not where it’s at but where it can go fairly easy and my buddy has the new 6.6 gas and he said he wishes he would have kept his 6.0 Chevy instead. I’m sure the motor is ok just the *pretty boy engineers that thought a 6 speed with 3.73’s was ok going up against the 7.3 and 6.4 hemi with 4.1o or steeper gears. 7.3 makes over 500hp easy with just a bit of tuning.

Rumor has it ford is testing a forced induction 7.3 for the next super duty and Cummins is making gas and propane versions of the 6.7 diesel so forced induction gas heavy duty may he on the way soon. Ford worked with whipple to make a program for the engine and transmission to supercharge it and the stage 2 kit will still maintain warranty it’s like 700hp and 650 tq they say a stage one kit is coming but no numbers so I’m thinking stage one might be an oem tow set up but we’ll see.

Many many thanks to Kevin & Holly again for hosting an event so enjoyable that we are all looking forward to next year!! All of the "old" friends & new ones add up to a bunch of swell memories. Getting to run some different saws is always a bonus. I managed a few pics of Brad doing his thing on the big elm.DSCN0467.jpgDSCN0468.jpgDSCN0469.jpgDSCN0470.jpgDSCN0471.jpgDSCN0467.jpg DSCN0468.jpgDSCN0470.jpg DSCN0469.jpgDSCN0471.jpg
