I have no concerns about the toughness of this saw. I truly believe they are proven and at this price would be a great saw for a Northern firewooder.

Cool....about time some new reasonably priced saw with good manners, some decent power out the door that can actually wet the bar a bit and heat the house with out blowing up, burning down, pissing bolts or just plain wore out in two seasons besides us coolaid heads, pumpkin pickers and some form of a red head. Mmm...redheads....

Picked up the New Mikita last night , package all nice and cozy as promised .Topped up the fuel and bar oil and gave it a little tuning adjustnent for the Awesome muffler mod Tim provided . I began her break in on some sugar maple , prior to heading up North to Moose Camp. Sounds and handles great Bud . P.S. Very diligent Seller ... Cudo,s Bro !
