Got the bar and building the saw! I'll look into the rest! It really was a blast! I set up one of the slabs in the living room yesterday on four 12" log legs.... my wife loved it! [emoji16]

Your 044 will work great on a mini mill for edging. If you go really big with the Alaskan a helper handle on the end may be needed for an assist.

For everything my 42" bar can handle, I always feel a "helper" on the other end hurts me more than helps. I need control of how she eats. Maybe it would be different if you have a real good saw operator on the other end, but usually I do not. My dad started to help once and it was not good..

Well you cant pass up deals like this! Thanks @Stump Shot for the list of things I needed! Feels pretty nice in the rabbit hole!

A coworker is dropping off some Black Walnut logs for me to mill! Told him buy me a chain and I'll split the wood with you for doing it. Should have the logs within the next week.

Ummm...I have no hay and I dont pay for wood! The Oak may be doable I'll call and see how far they are and if I can get my neighbors dump truck.
