Picked up this 85 ford f150 2wd for under 450.00 it has a 300 I6 backed by a C4 3spd auto.
I overhauled the carburetor rebuilt the distributor replaced the valve cover gasket and push rod cover gasket. Had to set the valve lash as they were a little noisy tried to change oil the other day pulled the drain plug and couldn't get more than a cup of oil, So i got the oil pan pulled to clean the sludge out and replaced the oil pump,pick up tube, screen in the process.

Here is a few pictures someone did a 100.00 spray job on it and it looks better than it really is in the photos.

truck has a tennessee title came from smyrna, but truthfully trucks or cars that don't pass emissions in tn come to kentucky for a new life because up here we have no emissions testing.

Emission testing everywhere is a tax grab. The older vehicles eventually come off the road anyway and replaced with newer ones.

Emission testing just means that that vehicle that doesn't pass is junked sooner and a newer one is purchased sooner. More money to be made here all around for government...
