Need somevinfo...272xp carb nos

So I picked up a carb for my 272 project today atbmy local. It's missing the shutter, but no biggie. I'm sure I have one. It's listed for a 268xp, but I knew call the aftermarket carbs call for 61-272 so I took the chance.

What's the deal? Will it work OK? What's different?
