My local Stihl dealer got robbed Saturday night!

Friend of mine was logging in the middle of nowhere and while skidding a dude got 4 660's out of his truck and within a hour was at the local hangout trying to sell all 4 for 500$

A guy there paid him because he knew they were stolen so they wouldn't vanish and then called the law after the guy left.

That's what a drug addict dose.

I am down at Norwin Rental a lot. Can't beat the service. I was in yesterday and they said "bring 'em back to us and we'll take care of them". I hope they get the guys.

Just an update here as I saw the "stolen" subforum pop up yesterday (why are jagoffs stealing our saws!). They caught the guy who is responsible for robbing Norwin Rental. He has done it before at other shops around Pittsburgh, but usually northwest of the city. He would sell the stolen saws to a landscaper in the North Hills area of Pittsburgh - who was actually the one caught by the cops and rolled on the thief. So this guy is going back to jail again, but hopefully for longer this time.

I agree with all of you guys. Jail is a waste of time and our money, but this guy needs something more than that.

They should take him around to all of the dealers that he has ripped off and leave him around the back of the building and come back in an hour.

I like the kneecap theory...he won't never steal another saw and run away fast enough under his own power. Every step he takes for the rest of his life, the SOB will remember his thieving ass days.
