My friend needs to purchase a 500i

I have a good friend in Arizona, needs a 500i west coast version. Wrap handle big dogs and clutch cover. Needs new. Any Amigos here have one?

I have a good friend who operates a logging company that supplies big cottonwood trees to a saw mill. He has two of them. He told me that neither one is for sale, even for two grand apiece.

My dealer can’t get anything except a 180 and 271. He said Stihl cut his buying capacity to 40% of normal, whatever that means

They must have some severe supply chain issues going on. I know one of the dealerships to the south of me had gotten several 500is but they couldn't get 661s.

Why would someone need a 500 anyway? Must have a fancy azz boat and need a expensive anchor. But wait it's Arizona FFS...

I’ve been waiting for one for 6 months in AZ. I bought the 2nd 500i I saw for a friend of mine and the order for a wrap version was placed. Not able to get it yet. Seems strange.

They have also big Backorders in Germany. Here also not much Saws from Stihl in Stock.

This is the reason: especial; colored Plastic what i have read.

I guess he just got first on a waiting list, in Arizona. So looks like he will get it. Thanks JJ
