My 61 to 266 I built has been sitting apart forever with an ignition issue. Finally fixed it tonight…I think. Ran it and the one I bought as a complete 266. Wondering if maybe it has a leak from the bar oil area to the coil area. @Stump Shot?

More likely coming from cap than case as a likely scenario, but anything is possible I suppose. Make a pressure test cap by drilling a hole through it and pulling a line that is snug in the hole of the cap. Install and apply pressure pump. If necessary drain tank and fill with soapy water to look for bubbles escaping to find leak source.
