Let me know how that works! I have an 064 cylinder that flaked a chip off under the exhaust port. Been thinking I would practice grinding on it but can't bring myself to touch it!Me either. I found 3 460 and 2 660 jugs that aren't good. I may have one or 2 plated.
Broken fins is fine. It saves me time later on when I want to cut the top off.Heath, they all have decomps or it would have already been on the way, sorry!
Mike, the only saw that looks like it is just for parts (was crushed) has muliple fins broke off the cylinder, but sounds like you got a response from someone else, so good.
There's plenty of places that do good work. There's a list in the Poulan hybrid thread diesel fitter startedLet me know how that works! I have an 064 cylinder that flaked a chip off under the exhaust port. Been thinking I would practice grinding on it but can't bring myself to touch it!
How much is missing?Let me know how that works! I have an 064 cylinder that flaked a chip off under the exhaust port. Been thinking I would practice grinding on it but can't bring myself to touch it!
I ported a 660 a couple years ago that had been ran over by a skidder, the cylinder had almost no fins left on it and it's still going just fine today.Broken fins is fine. It saves me time later on when I want to cut the top off.
Not real sure! Been a while since I looked at it. I'm trying to dig up a pic but can't find it in my new phone. Trolling back over at AS I know it's there somewhere! How much is missing?
Will the top ring cross it?
After two hours of searching I found the pic! Glad it's an easy day at work! The ring will probably cross it!How much is missing?

I was really reefin on it Mike.
Yes it is a KS! All the transfer is gone and cleaned up.I'd sand that transfer off and run it.
Looks like a ks?
Pretty strong old saw....built for milling.
