The real reason the riceburner 880 hasn't been released is that they haven't finished field testing the prototype saws they have in hands of pro fallers around the globe. :fighting02::facepalm:

I'd much rather wait for a quality product then to find the issued for them. It just means I will have to build a 66o to keep my hands busy.

Betting my money on plating, piston issues or both.
They won't hold things up because of bearings. That's been proven already. If it blows up...

What do you think is the hold up on kits being in route?
Id say sales driven business model is always driven by sales, so in the current market I'd sit on it till the markets weren't so volatile.
America dosen't slow down too much for a train wreck but the European markets are sh¡tty right now and I don't know about the rest?, but obviously a big saw is gonna do well with African and South American countries . When things stabilize that would be a good time for the new release of any product
(TP excluding).
Just my theoretical opinion, but every manufacturer has done this to some extent in the past.

That seems logical.

Maybe they are just waiting for a slacker time.... ie after the new yr.when sales are normally down. then pull your most wanted saw out , and watch every person raid the piggy bank and buy your most wanted saw

I could be wrong, but I got my piggy bank ready :D

Looks like the got most of the parts besides the plastics now. Which is kind of important, But I gave up any hope half a year ago. It's starting to seem like vaporware at this point.
