I posted this on AS thinking it was here... doh!

My buddy just found out his wife has breast cancer a couple months ago and is getting way over his head with medical bills. I was talking with his brother and about it and learned he has an ms461 he bought a couple years ago and has like 10 tanks through it. I'd like to sell or auction it off for him and I'll build him a good Saw to replace it. His brother is going to talk to him about it, but I'm pretty sure he will go for it.
What do y'all think? Any ideas?
Dan

Whoops. I'll continue here too LOL. Send me best email to donate and you can have that 262 I just got with KS87 as a base saw if you'd like. Maybe I'll try starting it today to see where it's at. Needs a little work but it's a whole saw.

Couple pics of the KS87 262 we can hook him up with. I'll visit Dan soon to get it to him. We can take a look and share the build pictures here and such. Got some extra parts too.

Dan I hope you have something to cut -- I'll bring the 385 you need to run it. I don't think you ever ran it!
I gotta make a list... LOL going to see Dan requires a list to remember everything to bring....

Will bring that square filed 20" chain we can touch up -- fastest chain to date on my Masterminded 262...

I'll be in touch hopefully I can get down there tomorrow with the 262.

All the best to your buddies wife.

LOL... Somebody's been practicing with a cant I see. Just saw the videos of the homelite dropping some bigazz chips.
You can sink the 32" on the 385 in one of those bigger ones.

I can talk with my wife and see if she can make a quit that could either be auctioned off or just given straight to your buddies wife. My wife has done quits for terry and Ann landrum and Jeremy and shauna miller. I bet @Adirondackstihl could post a picture or 2 for us to see that his wife never is withuot it. Let me know your thoughts

Awesome!!!one of my favorite gifts when I was younger was a quilt made out of squares of jeans. Cherished that quilt until my moms dog destroyed it!!
