No problem. I’m glad you like it. I tried to, but it’s just not what I liked. I couldn’t line cuts up for *s-word falling with it.

I have had this problem with other telescoping products as well. Assume that it is due to having small hands and getting old! Started carrying a rubber strap jar-opener / pipe wrench around for that. Also need it on my chain grinder knobs sometimes!

Stihl has something to worry about that their flagship saws are still running old style journal cranks.
2020 will be an interesting time for Husqvarna.

Anyone tell me what we're talking about here? "Old style journal cranks" ?? Lost me there.

My friend unfortunately for you 2019 will be a tough year for you as a Husqvarna lover.

You will be bullied, actually just started, embarrassed, kicked for husky hp,weights etc and propably gang raped (not physically) by Stihl owners.

HUSQVARNA FAILED ITS A FACT

NEVER A SERIOUS MANUFACTURER AT ANY INDUSTRY OR ESPECIALLY HUSKY BEING IN MOTORS ETC LEAVE & LIVE A GAP LIKE THAT.
IT IS A FIASCO!
My friend its long past your bed time now , you have a long 12 hour day tomorrow running that 661.Lol
I am bilingual I have a sweet little MS261 Cm II and a brand new MS462 Arctic on the way. I got a 562XP I bought new in 2012 and its got close to 2000hrs on it now. Only repairs was replacing 2 spring mounts and she's still performing.

When I worked for Stihl 30 years ago Hans Peter Stihl said right to my face when I made a little jab towards the Husqvarba 268XP.
He said " Willard never let anyone hear your disrespect toward our competition, we wouldn't be where we are today if it wasn't for them being in business. They will do disservice to themselves with their own criticism towards us".

Oh FFS!

What’s a 576?
572xpw?

If they are less than 80cc, then they are a 70cc class saw.

I always classified a 77cc saw a 80.
441 is the lone 70
Follow specs much in your 33 years Lol.
576 is 73.5 cc....572 70.7cc

So does that mean a MS500i at 79.2cc should be a 70 or a 562XP at 59.8 cc be a 50?
77cc ( 76.5cc to be precise) is past the 75cc half ways point, closer to 80.
Can't believe I had to type thato_O

All the time there Pops.

You’ve been around more than long enough to know an 046/460/461 has been & still is a 70cc class saw, just like a 7900/7910.

Why? Because it’s < 80.

What you consider isn’t necessarily relative, but you know that too, what with all your experience.

The MS500i now seems to be replacing the 461: It’s only 2.7cc more.

Just To be clear,

The 372 was reintroduced after the 575 failures & continued even after the 576 was introduced due to poor sales of the 576. Again, relative.

Now, is it foolish that we bicker over 3 or 4cc? Probably.

Maybe the 572 will fare better than the last 2 Husqvarna “Replacements.”

Kinda like how the 440 was reintroduced after the 441 fell flat?

Exactly like how the MS440 was reintroduced after the MS441 troubles.

The last time 441 production was halted, 461s were marked down $100 to compensate.

Kinda left the part out about the 441 bust in your argument..... just making sure everything is laid out there.

Only problem they had too many 70cc models and a 372XP they couldn't get rid of because of all the uproar when the OE was discontinued then re introduced.
Then a favorable 372XT and 576 that they continued to make record profits on.
The lone Stihl MS441 sure wasn't a money maker or got any respect.

We had already established the MS441 never got any respect.

According to The poster above, the reasons the 575/576 didn’t fair so well was due to husky “had too many 70cc models.”

That was because nothing since the 372 would stay together & sell.

The 575 and 576, to me, we're junk period.
