That sounds like it may give the 562s some trouble!
I don't know what your missing, the "new Huskies " have been around for 10 years first at Sweden dealers as a 560 and 562.
These saws set the design standard for the "2016 new version II 261, 362" and then later the 462 which is not even available in USA yet.
2014 some Asian friends sent me the first pics of the prototype 442-462. When I posted them for the first time on a saw site in June 2015 I still had no information what it was or what cc. Then 2016 Version II 261, 362 introduced and I can see the similarities to the 2014 pics, then later 462 press release.
Husqvarna has a history of keeping design series on the market like the successful 395XP.
I don't see a gap for Husqvarna. They have a 572, 372, 576AT all in the 70cc class for the professional market of endusers who can work with a saw 8 hours a day 5 days a week without noticing a difference of a few ounces.
Husqvarna still has a 390XP that has a cc displacement niche right after the 576XP. So I don't see any gaps there.
Stihl has something to worry about that their flagship saws are still running old style journal cranks.
2020 will be an interesting time for Husqvarna.
Fir your information the 3 series is long gone!!! Dead!! Finish!!!
That means Husqvarna left with the worst production series ever in their arsenal the 5.
Is this enough or should we continue?
I WORK MORE THAN 10HOURS PER DAY AND FOR MONTHS SEVEN DAYS A WEEK
I NEED A 661 IN MY HANDS TO CATCH UP MY SCHEDULE
Sorry my friend I should have been more clear. If Husky could build what you say on those platforms why not just do it to begin with? For example Dolmar didn't release the 6400 and then release the 7900 10 years later... I get the theory but it seems like if it was feasible they would have just released them that way to begin with.
Only problem they had too many 70cc models and a 372XP they couldn't get rid of because of all the uproar when the OE was discontinued then re introduced.
Then a favorable 372XT and 576 that they continued to make record profits on.
The lone Stihl MS441 sure wasn't a money maker or got any respect.

I have had this problem with other telescoping products as well. Assume that it is due to having small hands and getting old! Started carrying a rubber strap jar-opener / pipe wrench around for that. Also need it on my chain grinder knobs sometimes!Did you notice the twist lock jams when you extend the pole out? Its a *b-word to get the pole retracted!
It’s about time Stihl made some better Power to weight ratio saws.[emoji51]
After tearing apart a 661 I think they did a poor job on it and the 441 as far as AV for long bar users and guys wanting to mill with them. All that extra weight is hell on the springs and the little star foam AV. The 661 I had I spent $100 on AV to make it feel better than a 346 with a 20” bar. Mount a 36” standard bar on it and it was maxed out on the stops in the case. 390 and 395 are much better for long bars. I think Stihl hit a home run for European users with short bars and have probably missed the boat for the guys in the PNW and southeast Alaska who run 28-50” bars on 70 and 90 cc saws.
For wordwide. It’s until supplies last. How long do you think?

Still with their eyes to the ground! LOLDid you know they still make the 288xp and 272xp brand new in Brazil?
So while yall in Europe are loosing saw options the rest of the world will still be clicking along.
I always classified a 77cc saw a 80.Lone? Pffft.
You seem to have intentionally omitted the 461?
Similar weight as a 372/ less than a 575/6 & more pushin’ for the cushion.
