Cross 660 runs strong. After all, it is a bigger saw. 441 runs well too.

that's some crazy hard "pine"...pine near me is akin to 'paper'...

it looks like the two were closer then I initially thought they would be, but a longer bar in larger wood might be where the spread widens. I have a Cross 066 that im beginning to run out as well...so far it has crazy compression ( went with a cardboard gasket .022 squish) so far having problems with the choke plate rubbing on something. so I can't get a real performance gauge.

Do you still have the gasket and plate between the carb and filter base?

I found the hardest bit i could. Anyone can cut soft stuff and look good. Got squish of 025 with standard gasket.being only me 2nd topend rebuild i didnt wont to go lower
