Thought about it. But it's not mine to make the call. As crazy as it sounds, when you look at it, it's hard to even tell with the brake handle right there. Probably not painting the brake handle chrome either....

I went with this variation, oblong the factory discharge and add a 1/2" hole in the other corner. Using a 1/2" vari-bit and a dremel to deburr, it was pretty easy. Added some of Keith's red oil@40:1 and she fired up for the first time with 4 pulls. Mine is the C-M.

Here is what i came up with ,just opened the stock hole as big as could and keep screen intact ,this is quiet still ,and flows good enough for me ,i had one that was gutted more ,was hurting my head running the thing ,was doing a lot of limbing is why the exhaust looks so rich .

It's gotta help some. The OEM outlet size is just too dang restrictive. I modded mine before I even fired it up for the first time.
