Cutting up storm damage the other day with a recently acquired 261 and it started bogging after it got warm. Took the carb apart and the diaphragm is definitely hinky. I have always ordered Walbro kits on Amazon for my 044/440s and 046/460s but there does not seem to be a good source for these Zama kits without the Stihl dummy tax. Also, it appears on the parts diagram that the kit only comes with gaskets and no needle or strainer. Is this accurate?

Anyone know where I can get a Zama or some other branded OEM kit for these carbs?

This is an earlier non MTronic carbed saw.

Thanks for the the specific part number for the kit. On the Zama site it says this kit must be purchased from an authorized Stihl dealer. I have run into this before specifically on Toro hydraulic components. The OEM won't sell you a specific hydraulic pump or component parts for it because it is proprietary to Toro. You have to end up buying a larger assembly or some such from Toro or find a used one somewhere. Makes sense really.

If Baileys is selling the kit for $20 then it should not be too bad to buy from the Stihl dealer. I just didn't want to pay Stihl for their packaging if I didn't have to.
