Not to be a downer on you’re add but you can get the cylinder kits from stihl for under 200 bucks.

Not trying to crap on your sale but they are still available to order from Northeast Stihl? And a list price of ~$180...

Mmm very weird 3 months ago they were NLA. Even spoke to stihl and verified that.
Maybe due to price increase? Even so I’ve never seen stihl make something NLA due to price increase.
Btw I get it! You’re not crapping all over my sale lol 😂

Maybe they realized the error of how many guys still run 200ts and want to keep running them, and thought it wiser to keep producing them... i know they have cut a lot of the 0xx parts, and for good reason, not terribly wise to keep parts for 40+year old designs that are mostly owned and run by collectors, but a saw thats been the backbone of the timber industry and is still sought after? Keep them parts LOL 🤣

Something don’t seem right if that were the case, they’d kept producing the crankcase half’s also…cannot have 1 without the other. Thus we come back to the collectors scenario. And i too would’ve to agree (not terribly wise to keep parts for 40+year old designs that are mostly owned and run by collectors).

Sometimes parts go NLA in the system; could be months or years. Then the factory does a run of parts and they have supply for a little while.
