Sounds like the problem was discovered and resolved. Yea!

That 268 is a beauty.

The 268 is one of those 20/20 deals. Looks great at 20 feet or 20mph.
I got it with a broken case before I found this place.
I used a farmertec case.
Then, I ripped the intake gasket trying to install the intake and carb with the jug bolted on and didnt know it. Thats how I cooked the top end (jug could likely be saved).
Then comes in a Warhawk 272 top end.
Then, the tank got robbed for a 61 with a crushed handle so that remained Husky.

It is known as my Ching-chong-a-varna.
Next, I'm going to attempt to do some port work. Likely I will blow it up again..
