Originally when I bought this saw I had planned on converting it to .325 pitch. Bought it, got it home put it in some wood and figured out how much I liked the 3/8 lo pro. However I'm not happy with the 6 tooth spur and would like to convert to a 7 pin rim. The dealer was no help with this, so i was wondering if any of you guys might have some part numbers. I have also been looking at different bars like maybe a Cannon Mini. If I remember correctly the Stihl 16" low pro is 55 dl. The Cannon Mini I was looking at is 61 dl if it is an 8mm slot. So does anyone sell a 61 dl 3/8 lo pro or do you make it off of the roll. Also if any of you have advanced the timing on one of these little monsters, how much of an advance do they like (how much off of the key?)?
Thanks, Isaac

I dig the rim swap on 241s i did it on both of mine , they have the stones to spin a bigger sprocket with picco.

That setup is exclusive to the MS241 and doesn't fit any other saws'
Link to my listing on Ebay.
Includes ebay fees and paypal fees and shipping as well as a modest profit.
Many guys dont have a decent dealer nearby.
I encourage those that do to patronize them.

I just ordered a couple of speed cut systems today to try out on some ported 346XPs, we will see what they are like.
Appear to be a semi-chisel which seemd crappy but who knows until its on video :)

It is supposed to fit the 231 and 251 but not the 250?
The MS250 is supposed to be 1123-007-1031.
might be one of those things where they are really similar and can interchange even though they have different part numbers

I noticed this yesterday. I had a 7 tooth spur part number started with 1123, it for an
ms 210. I thought about putting it on the 241, it fit perfect but couldn't stand the fact it was the wrong number. Thought it might have been something I couldn't eyeball. Scratched that idea and going with the rim. I don't like the spur anyway. I feel like a pro saw should come with a rim regardless if it is a 40cc saw.

My dealer actually tried to help. The microfiche sowed two spurs a 6 and a 7 tooth. No part available. When he put the mouse over the part it gave the part number. Tried typing that number in the cart, didn't exist. So not only could he not get me the rim he couldn't get the spur either. Weird.

I have done a fair bit of side by side with the new speed cut bar and chain against the previous oregon chain and 3/8 lp both Oregon vxl and Stihl ps not on a 241 but the 421 is a good sounding board
