Generally I try to use the fcast on single ring and regular on doubles, though double thin rings I'll go either way.
Nothing definitive, just seems like it would make sense...
One vs two regular rings makes almost no difference at all on compression. I always run a single ring piston when I have the option. I wouldn't run an FCast ring in either scenario. IMHO, all they do is rob power through friction.

Meteor single ring pistons come with Fcast rings in factory boxes. Whether these are added by the individual dealers or not I'm not sure.

I never realized this until I saw the ring that said "F-Caber" on them.

Ive heard that they take longer to break in but seal better when they are broken in.
