MS 200 t questions

I have a 200t with a scored piston.
The cylinder feels like it might have a few shallow groves.
I have a 020t that has a good piston and cylinder.
I see the difference in the transfers.
The 200t has at the widest area 27mm.
The 020t has at the widest area 21mm.
Anyone ever use the 020 jug on a 200?

They swap amd run fine, the jury may still be out on how equal they are in power.
In stock form most of the 020t dont have an accelerator pump either, and the 200t runs fine with an 020t carb

I think that is a "sometimes" answer...meaning that some work and some don't as there are different versions of 020t's
and the early run ones don't swap but the later ones do. I have done one and it worked but @Lone Wolf and I have gone back and forth on this ...he says no...I says sometimes.

I think the later ones that look like the 200t body wise will swap.

From what I seen the case area where the transfers match up looked total different.
If I interchange the 020 cylinder with the 200 case should I use the base gasket off the 200?

Why don't you just hone the 200T cyl? Or send that dirty mess here and get it fixed at a very fair price.

Well clean it up good and see what you get. There are some used cylinders avail too you know. Do you have two whole saws an 020 and a 200?

200 complete
020 top handle busted carb missing and all of the filter parts, bearings shot

Why don't you just hone the 200T cyl? Or send that dirty mess here and get it fixed at a very fair price.
