MO vs paypal

Paypal friends and family is what I use rather buying or selling. I do repeat deals with guys that are "friends" first and foremost. Papa said, "It takes a lifetime to build a good name, and only a second to destroy it." I live by that. I have only ever excepted 1 MO and it was a hassle. It was a USPS money order. I went to the main branch of the post office where I live, and they couldn't cash a $800 money order. Said they didn't keep that kind of money in the drawer there. So he sent me across town (sorta the other side of the tracks) where most people use cash. They were able to cash it on the spot. That said, I didn't like the hassle, the additional trip, and the area where I had to go to get it cashed. It was the first time and last time I will ever except one.

Seems like the deals I have had buying and selling are always the same circle of guys that I communicate with daily so "we" have no worries.

The premiss of a Postal Money Order transaction is that you have a felony mail fraud in your back pocket. It should be noted that a seller can simply take the MO to his regular bank, and deposit it, just like a check.
I must have set up Paypal sometime after I sent Steven the money for a spectacular saw..... Packed to the hilt!!!
I like the conveinience of pay pal now that I have it.

PayPal is instant but they've went anti gun. Can't sell guns and stuff like that any more and not use F&F transaction

Bought a saw today in person and used PayPal. Showed my phone to him that the money was sent, he checked his computer to verify it and I left with the saw.

Only time I got burned on a saw deal was with a MO.

Follow up. Try to send money pay for some parts. Screen keeps coming up with option to import my contacts to PayPal. I don't want Pp to have my contact list. Can't complete the transaction, no send icon. Call the nice brown skinned girl with the sing song accent and explain to her 3x the issue. She can't even grasp the concept of a Windows phone. So now I have money in Pp that I can't access on the go.

It sounds like your phone is trying to do a PayPal app. Most of these apps want a bunch of info. Try using your phone to go to the internet in the same way you would on a PC. My guess is that will allow you to use your phone to conduct PayPal transactions, just not in the way they want you to.

Definitely go internet first, then the normal PayPal route. Should work fine.
