I take that back, it’s mesquite crotch
"for smaller stuff" ;-) -Where it's hard to keep it from 4stroking in the cut.Yes that's saw is only just pulling that chain now 8-pin and lower rakers will make it a pig and very grabby .
And that’s why I have a hard time finding love for 60cc saws stock or modified. I end up talking myself into getting one 562, 6100 ect.... then end up selling it. I guess it depends on your use. Maybe for what I use a saw for there just too “in between” a 50 and 70cc. For a dedicated firewood saw a 60cc is a good size though. I have to say the new ms400 that will make its way to the USA eventually is a intriguing saw. I would think it would be nice for me for jobs with 15-25” timber, especially if it’s brushy stuff I have to limb a lot. Almost 70cc (67cc) in a 55-60cc package sounds nice. The question is how rapey is the price gonna be....Both with 24” LW bars and tanks half full.View attachment 279880 View attachment 279881
Stihl will most likely just price it 1500€uro here in Croatia, keeps things simple for customers - all new upper cc class pro saws cost the same, just pick Your poison. And that’s why I have a hard time finding love for 60cc saws stock or modified.
