Methanol?

I have a couple questions about methanol.

Those of you that are using it, are you mixing it with gasoline or any other fuels?

What oil works best with methanol fuel? (H1R doesn't mix)

Where are you buying it?

Are you flushing out the cases of your saws after using it?

I don't know all the oils that mix with it but Benol is one race oil that does.
I can't answer the fuel mixing question, but it does need drained and flushed pretty soon after running.

I knew it was corrosive, just didn't know how bad, also isn't that made by klotz?

It's really not corrosive per say....It absorbs water very quickly so without flushing with a gas mix rust forms very fast on the bearings....Add nitro with it then the rubber parts become squishy very quickly also

Klotz original is what i use. M5 VP is what i have right now. Low nitro rc fuel worms and smells like it has super if its part castor oil. 16:1 is what i mix
