I can honestly say I have never ran 50:1 in any of my saws just not enough lubricationYeah, I'm no fan of a 50:1 mix. I had a guy run a 088 I did on 80:1 once. It melted the rod bearing. After that I started telling people to use 32:1. Then with the Autotune saws not liking that much oil, I dialed it back to 40:1.

Mains usually have a bit of up and down all of that to save a bit of pollutionI think it's pushed on us because of the epa.
It ain't the piston that worries me, it's the big end of the rod.
Couldn't agree more Dallas screw the EPA save the bearingsi think its the epa bullcrap also and id rather pay for oil than the parts especially if the crank would go this one was caught before any failure yes my buddy matts 360
