But where is the EL42 getting it's dang idle supply from.......it's driving me crazy.
Hang in there Randy, the 6100 is on the list of 'wants' of many of your customer's. Terry is spilling some high quality beans ATM. Getting the fuel requirements sorted on your saws will improve the cutting experience for many. You have some awesome ideas on porting, this stuff is what a site like this should be all about. Once the black wizardry of the all position cube carb is debunked, you can start charging a carb upgrade fee. You too often do a bunch of extra stuff on saws that others in your field overlook. Anyone would happily pay a bit more for a well tuned carb.

Terry is pushing me to learn. That's really cool huh? I enjoy this part of it. The port work is cool, the machine work is great, but I need to do new and different stuff to keep this job from becoming boring.

And.....thanks for the kind words.

I feel like I have some very good customers. I always get behind, and I never hear a bad word. That's worth me putting a little extra in....

The picture of the carb circuits indicates that #1 is what we have been referring to a 'auxiliary jet' for the high speed circuit. The circuit runs in parallel with the needle so both feed the discharge nozzle, with the needle used for fine tuning of the mixture.
