I had a ball racing just stock saws down at TM's. Didn't win a one. Will do better next time, that's what it's all about...having fun. I would encourage everyone to at least give it a try first, before you decide if ya like it or not. Didn't bother me one bit not to win the first time I did it, or even have the saw ready that I planned on running, still ran anyway with what I had.

That saw is one of the fastest things I've ever seen. Makes me want to venture back into my husky 350 and see if there is any more lol ... but I doubt it, not compared that.

Here is what I can tell you about what @tree monkey did with that saw. Waited to start on it until he had a chance to dedicate some time to it and had a proper piece of test wood so he could baseline it and keep accurate results as he went along. I am pretty sure he went back in it three different times. I don't think he was truly satisfied with it when he took it to the CT GTG but after seeing the reactions he decided "Good enough for who it's for." and gave it to Julian to pack up and ship to me...
