Well I guess I'll start out

1950's Mall 11E18 Electric Chainsaw.
I got this in the last saw lot I bought
It's not like newer electric chainsaws as there is no oiler. The .404 chain is run dry and so I leave the chain loose.
I dressed the original bar and buffed off all the rust I could without using a wire wheel.
The only bad to the saw is a few of the fins on the side are broken off, but besides that
the saw is in pretty good shape. It has a 9 point spur, chain speed is 840 FPM. IMG_0445.JPG IMG_0449.JPG IMG_0448.JPG IMG_0447.JPG IMG_0451.JPG

I found a Mall electric in a junk emporium out near Mamouth Cave a couple of years ago. I think he was asking $150 for it.

I have 2 malls that were my paps. Some day they will run again. They've been in the top of my shop since before I was born.

I have a pickup load of Mall saws. 7's and 12a's. I need to start in on a restored of one of each using the rest for parts. Too many other useful saws to work on.

The only Mall I have is a model 12A which is a baby compared to the big boys and I can't find a picture of it .AtHPIM3618.JPG the moment it's resting but at one time it worked .

I find it note worthy to show a pic of the finest restored Model 6 I have every seen owned by Bradley David Snelling .He did one 'ell of a job on that one .

You never know. My local sold me piles of stuff like that for crazy little cash. He just wanted rid of it. I completely understand that's not usually the case. Lol

The V Dub is missing a great deal of its motive power going by the pigeon toe wheels.

I got that V Dub when i was around 14
it's been sitting at my Folks property since we moved there in 81.We have their property for sale so i thought i would bring it to my home, and hopefully find someone that will restore it.The main floor pan is in pretty good shape and i believe it was the first year with the lrg back window. It's been sitting so long the undercoat is falling off reviling shinny paint underneath.
I had room on my truck yesterday, their place is 35 miles from home so i thoughtDSC00630.JPG i would make use of some deck space
