Both Steve @Stump Shot and Greg @farminkarman did an amazing amount of work on this project.
Greg's technical thread on work being done, Steve added his work towards the end.

Greg went above and beyond, giving the saw what it needed without going too overboard as we wanted this vintage engine to last a few.
Price quoted on all work performed was extremely reasonable.
Steve went above and beyond: expert assembly, testing and outstanding packaging for the international ride.
Steve gave me a very reasonable price for the entire project.
Outstanding quote for the international shipping, all customs forms filled correctly, saw arrived in a few without any hick ups.
7th pull on a bone dry engine, no start solution no gas down the carb, she came alive and well.
I could not be more happy and satisfied with the Wisconsin duo, their expertise, communication, and final product delivery 10/10 on all aspects.

Correcting squish on McCulloch cylinders
This is my first time doing this, so I figured I would try to document the process. After measuring the squish on this cylinder at 0.052”, I started by cutting 0.032” from the base. This looks the same as any other non-clamshell jug.
