Very sad to hear. Thoughts and prayers out to the family.

At 37 I’m going through chemotherapy for the second time since 2013, life is precious and fragile. Never take it for granted.

I just wanted to let community know @stihled aka ed jiskra passed away this morning from cancer. I have known for a while he was sick but didn't want to say nothibg. He never posted much just in parts and saws for trade and sale. He was a great man. God xalled him home today. His wife texted me 30 min ago. I will be in touch with his wife to see if anything is needed. I'd like to try to possibly start some kind of something to maybe help them if needed. I know I've butted heads with a few members here. But ed was. A great guy and never asked for a thing and waz a great Christian men and a father and a gusband he was 59.

Geeze I'm so sorry. Prayers for the family.

Cancer is a killer. I lost an uncle at age 44 from colon cancer, a father in law at age 57, and a grandmother at age 72 from bone cancer. None of them ever smoked a cigarette. However, I lost another uncle at age 71 from lung cancer. He was a chain smoker. Perhaps only by the grace of God, I have outlived them all. I quit smoking at age 28 -- best decision I ever made.
