I have noticed that there is less traffic on FHC. And figured it was over here now. Looks like I found everyone!!


Is anyone else having this site act REALLY REALLY slow? It takes forever after I clink a post or something g for it to open up?

I never came over here or joined cause I was on enough forums. But after it seemed like there was a lot of folks gone from FHC I figured I would find yall and get back into more posts.

Other than the fact that it will not let me post my pics, the site is working fine for me. It seems they recently reduced the size of a file you can attach.

The site has been very slow for me, (started a post regarding it) and now I'm at a different location with blazing broadband speeds and it seems ok. At home, I use Verizon for internet (via a Jetpack) and that's where I was having issues. It used to be fine and then all of a sudden it got very lethargic. No other websites with that symptom though so something changed with OPE's site.

No problems here. I think there was a thread about people having problems. Never an issue here though.

Welcome to the best dam OPE site on the internet!!! Same thing with me. Came home last nite after a very tiring day at work (didn't have time to check in) and was looking forward to my quiet time and checking in on the site. The site was so slow it was killing me. Other sites didn't seem to be that slow. Today it is much better...I think my Jones' is starting to settle down...

Our administrator is traveling around this country, and then heading up into Canada with his son. When he gets back (or maybe stops somewhere with good WiFi), I'm sure he will be able to address these issues. Steve is a paid website guru, and is very good at his job, but right now, he's making memories with his son. I think we will be ok till he returns.

As far as the slow issue. For me the forum is acting basically perfect. But for that first day I signed up it was almost impossible to. I had to reload the page like 3x as it kept timing out. I couldn't even bring up the forum as nothing would happen. Then once it loaded I couldn't even bring up a post. I just quit. Then the next day I was able to make this post but it was still about half speed or less of other forums. I was sure it was some issue and not the norm. Just wasent a good first impression I got.

But like I said fine now, I see a lot of familiar faces and with the number of folks and posts I was pretty sure it had to be an isolated thing.
