I had a 372, but sold it. It ran fine, I just like my 044's. The 345/346 is an option. I'm wanting something outside the box. How bout the Dolmar 421 I think?
Tom, you should have run my 421 at the PA GTG. It just sat in the back of truck all day. It’s a great little saw. I’m not sure if you can find a new Dolmar branded one, but the Makita 4300 is the same saw.

I have a couple Shindaiwa 488. If you are looking for something outside the norm these are great saws! I have never compared them but I have heard stock to stock they are right with an 026 and just behind a 346xp.

Lol. Wasn’t gonna. I used to live in FL, and still have lots of good friends there. If anyone was close I’d have them go pick it up and send it to you, but they’re nowhere near that area unfortunately.

Anyone ever run a Shindaiwa 360?
My buddy bought one new in the early 80's from a local dealer.
Pretty sure its the lightest pro-built saw Ive ever seen.
I'd love to have one some day if the right deal came along.

I really like my 421. It has a muffler mod. And runs good. I also have a 3601 and would really love to see one built.

I am leaning towards going for something different. Not that anythings ruled out, but I have Stihl and Husky saws and really feel there are good saws out there with out those brand names. I like the Dollie 421, dont know squat about the Shindaiwa saws wouldn't mind owning 1 of them either. The Husky 242 appeals to me also, though I heard its hard to get.
