I will tell you how I break in my boots .
I fill the tub with hot water stand in the water for ten minutes . and then walk in the for awhile then place on the boot dryer

Then after boots are dry reapply the conditioner's

This is how we broke our combat boots in. Only difference was wear them till they were dry. Then spit shine.
