I was gifted a straight gassed K1260. What I have found out is it is a 119cc engine. Are parts compatible with a 3120?20240121_152439.jpg

Same cylinder as a 3120xp.

If you pull the cylinder, can you measure the height and width and the bolt pattern for me?

Some parts are the same/similar: crankshaft, cylinder/piston, clutch, carburetor, muffler, various fasteners and smalls.

The crankcase is not the same and very difficult to convert into a chainsaw. Intake tract is not the same either and the air filter
system is quite a bit different.

Whats the difference in a k1250 and 1260? The early 1250 are converted in Europe and sold as 3120xp.

This one doesn't have an oil tank or recess for the oil pump. I wonder if the cut off bar and stuff will fit on a 395?

I don't know enough about the 1250 to say. I do know that the earliest 3120Ks could be converted to chainsaws pretty easily.

There were many changes to the 1250/1260 crankcases. The later ones are not conducive to converting.
