Nope. I'm talking old school made in Canuckistan real Windsor, not that ching chong shama lama ding dong sheeit from Blount(Brount) China.

No Bailey's? For why, dawg? The lack of ease ordering online when there site is consistently timing out, exorbitant shipping, near local pricing, or the chance of another security breach?

Oh and someone bought themselves a nice watch in texas with my credit card after baileys security breach..they can get fukked in my book.

I'm not sure what RMF is, but APX(APLX) is Windsor Full chisel, so it would make sense that it would dull faster in dirty conditions. I had a bunch of the Windsor, and in clean conditions it is pretty wicked.

That's odd for two different manufacturers to use the same nomenclature?

Are you sure it's Windsor APX and not Windsor 50APL?

Oh heck naw.....you're good.

The only APX I knew was Oregon. I have a 25' reel of Oregon 72AP, the skip version of 72DP. They also have 72APX which is DPX skip.

With two tie straps between cutters, is the AP semi chisel half skip?

It's semi-chisel full-skip. Semi-skip is a 3/2 sequence instead of a cutter every third link .

Off the roll/our of the box square is NOT near what square should be. I do not attempt to make race chains, work chains only and square is good stuff. I cut mainly hardwood and a lot of it is dirty, square doesn't rock as bad as round if filed proper. Just my $.02 from the south east.

^^^^ yep.

The working corner on sq holds up a LOT better than round chisel.

One file will last a long time for work chain and make a "great" raker file when the the edge finally gives up.
