A while back I picked up a jonesered 2165 for €50. It had been straight gassed.

I finally started rebuilding it last night.

I got a new meteor piston and cylinder for it. I had to get the more modern intake manifold to fit the new cylinder, the old one was the rectangular mount. I then realised I have to get a different clamp to hold it on, a cable tie probably won't do.

I will post more pictures as I progress.

Think I would tend to getthe real metal clamp a would put new seals in it - press-vac test it when you get it together IMO
