When I went in 18 it was free. However most put money in a jar for the host, which I doubt covered the expenses, the setup was very elaborate, more like a small festival. They even had logs buried in the ground in a viewing area for filling demonstrations, axe throwing and a few hardwood logs on stands for bucking, a portable mill, an area for chain sharpening and axe building. Last year it was at a 150 acre campground which likely wasn't cheap. I did not go in 19

I agree with what Gary @GCJenks204 , Bob @Spike60 & company.

I don’t think a Riff Raff saw will change how BBR is as a person, nor do I think he’ll quit sending his subscribers to Harv, ain’t many days since he claimed IH was up there along with the best porters out there.
Nor do I think BBR will cut the bonds to Harv, no mather how much better the riff raff will run.
Not saying this because I think BBR is rotten, just saying how I think it will turn out.

2019 was alright. All the proceeds went to the school they had it at which was pretty cool. At least that was my understanding. Met some cool people there, that was probably the best part. Oh and the good lord saw fit to keep me from sending my 395 with ol IH. Win!

He’d be going against the very things he preaches if he didn’t take a step back and evaluate things. One step farther would be to clear the air, he’s why we know of IH. Why not exonerate him (impossible I know) or use it as an example for people to learn from. Asking a lot I know!

Some good people were there, couple guys had treemonkey saws, a few EC saws and the saws I had. A couple guys were from the forums, can't remember all the names. It was an eclectic group of people, it was not like a saw GTG as we know it.

The elliptical shape reduces friction on the sides that don’t touch=fast saw....

Also reduces initial compression, don’t worry, the muffler will fix that up at rpm

I like the idea. Very generous offer. Playing devils advocate here: Where will this take us? We aren’t the ones trying to be acquitted(forum guys).
I dont think we need to teach peeps that ported worksaws are more productive and can be ultra reliable. Nor do I think we need to prove OE jugs are better than Chinese. The fact that Jesse has what he needs to carry into the woods and make a buck, sort of says it all. Discuss..
