I have a m101a3 that I use to heat my house. I pull it behind my 1997 Dodge 2500 Cummins 4x4. The trailer can take more than the truck. This was a load of eucalyptus I hauled home a couple of years ago.
I bought a pintle hitch for the truck and kept the lunette on the trailer. I like it better than a ball hitch off road. It articulates and doesn't come off the truck. Another plus are the parking brakes. I can leave the trailer about anywhere I want.
BTW when my wife took this picture she said nothing says "redneck" better than jean shorts and work boots. Funny
Just sold my last 101 last week.
