I don’t think I even have a 404 setup left. I run some full comp 32” on a ported 10mm 044 as my first saw I ported and was pretty happy. Then I got a 372xpw and that ended that[emoji1787]

What???
I really like my ported 440. Is there a chance a ported 372XP will leave me disappointed in my German workhorse?

372s are very strong when ported. Stock my 044 will usually take em.

I know mine ran real well when I first got it, but it got even stronger with break in.

Do you add any openings or just enlarge the stock and port match?

Just one outlet. Most of the guys I build saws for would rather have a saw that appears as stock as possible. And I'd rather have mine as quiet as possible.

Also....there's no really good place to add an additional outlet.

I don't want anything on the muffler that either hits the wood, or directs the exhaust back into the users face. So, front facing outlets are a no go for me.

When your building several in a group like this. Do you ever have one stand out, Evan though they all had the same work done?

Always. There will be one on either end....and six in the middle.
