It’s going to rain anyhow. [emoji848]

It’s Iowa, that’s how it is.[emoji6]

Anything going on?

Pics?
Heading home. Wet and muddy. My Jean's feel like tin pants. Rained most of the day. Good conversation were had in the shed. A huge Thank You to everyone for making another memorable GTG. Wife said she enjoyed meeting some of the folks I have known for years.

I left a little before 2 pm.

It stopped raining near Marshaltown.

Dry rest of the way home.

I should have gotten a motel room. [emoji3525]

Thanks to the Hosky's for a great day in spite of Carl's liquid sunshine. We did get out and run a few saws before lunch, a little rain never hurt anyone. Could be good preparation for a PNW GTG.

Just a few more.

There were quite a few interesting saws on hand today, including a couple of broad bottoms.

The Homelite XL15 had a new roller nose bar and Oregon 80 .404 self sharpening chain.

I didn't get photos of everyone but I was reacquainted with ChainsawmanXX (in the middle) again today.

I don't think he's aged a bit since we first met 10 years ago...

One last photo from yesterday when Mark and Chris came to visit the museum. Mark presented me with this NIB Poulan 3800...you will just have to come see it for yourself.

A big thanks to the guys that make the Iowa gtg happen! Yesterday was my first time attending. I'm hooked! It was great to see a couple of old friends and make lots of new ones. Despite the rain, we we're able to get the cobs blown out of of a bunch of saws. Thanks to Mark for posting all the good pictures also. I will definitely be back next year rain or shine.

Thanks to the Hosky's for setting up this event! I know it took a lot of preparation time to set up for it.
I got to meet face to face with a few people that I've known from afar for a fair amount of time. I'm also thankful for being able to become acquainted with many others that attended.
Mark, thanks for the tour of your incredible museum! Your collection is awe-inspiring!

Thanks so much to the Hoskeys and all who helped put on another great event for us! It was good to see people in person instead of just online with some of our favorite toys.

I had a chance to stop by Mark’s museum and shop on the way down Friday. He has done an extraordinary job of putting together and organizing a huge collection of saws, parts, paraphernalia, and knowledge for us to enjoy. You owe it to yourself to visit sometime!
