Think of it this way, your in a crumbling old building that no one has been in for 100 years. You've done your research and you have found a painting wrapped up. You hope it might be a rembrant (or some other old master), but you don't know. It could be that it was done by an apprentice, or just somebody, but maybe just maybe it is done by the master painter.
The fact remain though, that nobody alive has seen what is inside. When you open it, you are the first person on this earth to gaze apon the wonder that maybe buried inside.
Timber is timber, but when you start dealing in figured wood (burls, fiddleback, spalting, laces, quilting, birdeye etc) it is really something on a whole different level.
