I think balance is more important then just shear weight alone.
it is, I limb more with a 2253 then I did with the ms 201 rear handle, but that MS 201 was from the batch where they acted as a turd, stopped in the cut, etc.

No wait, Randy said Stihl is top notch, how could I mess this up, maybe its the age who get me!

Says the guy who has a large fleet of 50 class jewelery! (jealous btw)
Upside down on all but a few. Can't sell'm for a loss is what I tell the Mrs. The other day she axe me "how many guns do you have?" I just said "dozens" and kept walking...that was close! She doesn't give a rip, just testing me to see if I'm going to lie.

If Groundi asked me how many guns I have I'd have to say, "not sure, want me to count them?" It's not all that many but I'm not exactly sure how many saws I have but I keep track of that a lot closer. How to define a saw? Is a box of parts a saw? Is a big box of parts 3 saws? The way I calculate them is if I have most of a saw, it's a saw. Whether it's apart or not doesn't matter.

She’s a pro feller & arborist in Europe.

They take it a touchè more serious over there.

She’s probably boarding a plane to come straighten you out right about now.

She’s Legit.

My dealer sold 4 after they had been out a year or two. The loggers that got them one loved them and the other hated them and got 461. Some the west coast guys I talked to a lot went to 390s or buying every 660 they could find in any shape and rebuilding them.

I personally think the 441 and 661 are floppy feeling saws like running a 346 with a 24”. I’ve tried to like them and I give up. A 660 will put my hands to sleep but it’s a better feeling saw overall to me.
661s feel like a cheap Chinese toy to run.
