I have a br420 blower that I’ve had 18 years and all it’s ever needed was a spark plug, fur cap and fur lines (back story loaned it out and feared it had straight gas in it when I got it back so like a dumb ass I dumped it out over a small backyard fire... boom and I threw the blower thru the air and ran. Fuel line, burned and gas cap and some of the housing got a little melted. Then I gave it to my brother when I got the bl9000, his roommates dog chewed the spark plug boot off, so it’s come back for a repair. Can’t kill the sucker.

That some funny *s-word, I typed fur cap instead of fuel cap.... anybody want 49 chinchillas?

The base on this same jug is .007" out of square with the bore.

I can not speak for Husqvarna Dealer Policy ...but you would think they are supposed to be the last link in the chain to give the product the final once over before the customer takes it.
Yea maybe not such a "Full strip " as Randy has to do for the port work , but I guess things like the trans cap screws and carbs not allowing a saw to run should ,and would ,be detected ?
Randy gets to see the Husqvarna product (and other makes) at the PDI stage like the dealers and unlike most of the buying public.

How about buying a new 1300.00 saw and having to buy a AM filter setup so it functions properly? They have had there own mtronic issues so much that guys have spent more money to change them to.carb versions. I could go on...

Funny you mention that, I’ve got a herd of different color saws.

I’ve got some Yellows.
A few Orange & white
Another kind of Orange & white.

Even a red one.
