I've had two rebuilt by CC Speciality. I've got one now that needs rebuilt. Only had one that stripped while I was using it. The others just needed bearings.

That is not bad considering how many saws you do and that you use those aluma-hogs in them, so you are not exactly kind to them.

No.....I'm not at all kind to em. I start on the left hand corner.....and go WFO to the height I'm looking for, then across to the opposite corner. No baby steps.

Don't go make the man look like a cheapskate.

I have seen a bunch of burrs break similar to that, oddly only from one manufacturer.
The ones from another manufacturer rarely ever shatter, if at all.
