Yup a little sack tickle with the size 11 steel-toe will help him get his mind right. I'm a firm believer in helping thy neighbour, I often lend my trailer to mine, get his sons dirt bike running, lend him my Stihl Kombi hedge trimmer for him to cut hedges, replaced an anode in his hot water system etc etc. He always gives me offers me beer, leaves wine and stuff on my door step. But when someone confuses your generosity for stupidity and thinks they can take you for a ride, the deal is off they can suck nut & cut the 36" oak with their 12"b/c ms170 with blunt chain, no file & 2y/o fuel in tank that looks like cream.

Well......the girls talked today.
Greg's (that's the buttholes name) wife said that he's used to getting his way and he doesn't realize he's being a jerk. She also suggested I just let it roll off my back.
She also said that Greg wanted me to teach them to shoot. Neither has ever handled a gun and while they're both strongly opposed to individuals owning firearms, feel that living in the country, they might at some point need a gun. She also asked if I had one they could borrow, because they didn't want to actually own one.

Last week my wife wanted to have a BBQ so Greg and Tammy (that's the buttholes wife's name) could meet our friends from out here.

After today, she sees the light.
She's a conservative sort of gal and doesn't like the idea of libtards moving in and ruining the neighborhood. Socializing with an obnoxious liberal prick is not something either of us is willing to endure.
My wife and Tammy will still be friends but any expectation of Greg and I becoming more than acquaintances has been dashed.
He's on his own.

I wonder how long it takes to cut 25 acres with a battery operated mower?

Tammy called the plumber who installed the water heater. He's not interested in doing any further business with them but gave her the number for another guy. He wanted $150 to show up. Any work he did was extra.
Sounds like Greg makes friends wherever he goes.

Wow this sound fromilar. I have/had a neighbor like this. Rite across the street. Dont hardly say 2 words ever unless he needs somthing or is nosey. Wife wont even wave after 14 years. Never forget the day, after him telling me years ago he was a union pipefitter, he asked me for a pipe wrench so he could change out his hot water heater......me being a good guy like everyone here i said of course lemme get cha one. I dont even remember getting a thanks upon return of wrench. Prob cuz im self employed and non union..... im like dang were all out there tryin to do the same thing man but its all good..... did someone say zombie apocalypse? And GUNS?!!!! Cuz i got dibs on that house! Its got a new hot water heater FLMAO!!!!

@srb08 not thread hijack at all, my words of wisdom r to speak softly and carry a big stick. Teddy Roosevelt said it best. Just explain to him nicely that he is not in charge of what he does not know. U will have work for life once u set the ground rules. Hes out of place and in defense mode. Ser him str8. Kill with kindness. Ive had no problems plowing my neighbors driveway and explaining to him that his grass will grow back in the summer if I go Off the drive 6". Its way better than shoveling. $20 in 4 min. Is better than 3 hrs of his time. Ull get it str8, be optimistic. Or blast bird shot over his house till the cops show um and pretend ur asleep. I had two neighbors years ago that were difficult! One could never handle the fact that I bought property that he was able to uses for years free, he raised beef and stored firewood there, and the day after I made the deal on the property he cut a bunch of trees that were on the property...ugh!

Then the other neighbor...she was allergic to everything...on disability...she said I put her in the hospital for burning in a burn barrel, just paper...she said the ink on the paper was the issue....so I cut back on burning, waited for her to be gone and so on, well she was gone for a 3-day weekend and I figured perfect time to burn, she came back early...and wrote me a poem calling be mr. Smokey and basic calling me an inconsiderate jerk!
Sold that house years ago...have a great neighbor now! What a difference!
